Sables kneel when fighting and will use their horns in a sweeping motion to kill their opponent!

Sable antelopes are courageous in respect to the way they handle predatory animals.  Rather than running, they confront them!  They have even been observed confronting lions!

Herds are dominated by a single bull, as is the case with most antelope species.

Mature Sable bulls are rarely bothered by predators, with the exception of humans.
